I suspect that those with application issues had unresolved air bubbles that led to peeling

I cut strips slightly larger than the slats with a rotary cutter applied a strip to a slat smoothed out the air bubbles and then turned the slat over and trimmed the excess off with a wallpaper knife

Disclaimer i worked with small strips on a horizontal workbench applying the stuff to perfectly clean and smooth vinyl rather than hanging a full strip on a wall

The idea of moving furniture taping up edges draping surfaces priming and painting one measly 13foot accent wall was unappealing

We did not bother to match up the pattern between rolls so the seams are visible however hanging pictures and window treatment offset this somewhat
