This little bell is so well made.
After close examination i realized when the bell was at rest the striker was touching the bell.
The bell rings on a "thumb pull down method" so it might be a tad much for a child to learn to bike and use the bell at the same time.

I almost went with a 34designer34 bike bell that looked very cool but the low end version has a plastic ringer and had many negative reviews owing to breakage

The all metal high end version of that designer bell costs about 3x as much as this greallthy bike bell
