However, i was surprised they worked at all due to the horrific state of the packaging.

My local hardware stores only had the 5000k which is more suited to task lighting.

Competitiveness

Replaced lamp socket with 3-way & installed 3-way bulb.

These had the advantage of a good price point.

I'm not sure i've ever bought a 3-way bulb before.

Had a dimmable led bulb with lamp plugged into a wireless controlled dimmer unit.
