Pros

These bulbs were purchased primarily for their advertised longevity. The price is also, better than lowes. Love the economical factor a lot. My only real concern is with longevity.

The color of the light is pleasing. Warm looking with plenty of brightness without being harsh. Light is clean & bright.

The luminosity levels on these are better than the 3-way incandescent bulbs i replaced. No flicker and relatively good color rendering for the price point. As a 3 way lighting is very good with level control.

Cons

It's less than a week old.

Yes, they are more expensive, but not that much more where if you needed the light, it wouldn't be worth the extra money.

It cost three dollars at ace hardware for a new three way socket.

So i eventually decided to stop being cheap and bought this.

Competitiveness

I got the 3000 50/100/150 equivalent, and there is no comparison to an old-fashioned soft-white incandescent bulb of the same "wattage.

The price is also, better than lowes.

With other brands, i have found after some time that there seems to be problems with their connections to my light sockets.
