Not dull or dingy, not dark & dreary any more. I have them in the overhead fixture in my bathroom and they’re perfect for putting on makeup at the mirror.
Cons
These bulbs flicker more than any bulbs i have ever had. The bulb only lights up a corner of the room. They also vibrate and lose their brightness.

Terrible longevity for led lights. Last no longer than an incandescent. Didn't feel like daylight as claimed. They’re super bright while they last, but they advertise lasting 9.
Sylvania 60w soft white gives off much more light. Made my frosted white glass look yellow.
