Worked flawless. Though this is kind of a novelty item, it works quite well. Not only is it adorable but it works.
Cleanup isn't ideal (you have to remove the kettle and clean it by hand without submerging it and ruining the electrical connection) but it's worth it for the popcorn you get out of this thing. It is very easy to clean, and reassemble.
This little bambino popcorn machine is so cute! It makes just enough popcorn for 2 people. We use it regularly for movie nights and the popcorn always comes out perfect.
It is small enough to fit on an open shelf in our livingroom. Has an art deco design style that gives it vintage flare. It heats up quickly and makes the popcorn in just a couple of minutes.
Made over 100 batches. Everytime they come over the first thing they hear is tell me when 3 minutes is up.

It still pops the corn but has a horrible grinding noise immediately upon flipping the switch. It takes 5 cooks to pop an 8oz bag and i bought a case of popcorn combos of salt and butter. I now have to look for another popcorn machine in hopes that it... Read More
The side sustains stress from the lever. Since the heat lamp produces no heat at all the popcorn is steaming. There should be a lip to keep the popcorn inside the maker to prevent it from falling on the floor.

I think warming the oil up for 12 minutes before adding popcorn is advisable if using coconut oil

The pan that holds the popcorn and oil is a little difficult to get to for cleanup although it is removable
