This popcorn machine pops the 4 ounce packets perfectly! The 8 oz packet very nicely with little to no waste. Assembled it (take your time) and had popcorn right after. Use 8oz pre packaged oil and popcorn from smart and final.
Unit looks great, pops fast, with a lot of volume. We pop a batch almost every night and all we do is wipe the condensation off the glass after popping.
Cons
But nothing fits properly. Holes are too large on the underside of the carriage.
The turning spindle gets jammed with popped corn and stops, and popcorn gets burned. The kettle is no bigger than my 4 ounce popping machine.
Looks great and the popcorn is delicious, when it works. I hate doing it, but the frustration in dealing with an amazon's choice product warrants doing so. This is for an elementary school.

Packaging it arrives in is excellent and designed for the abuse.
Unpacking it was no problem and all pieces were accounted for and in good condition.
If you see how it’s packaged, you’ll definitely not want to send it back over one little bolt!
The box looked like it had been through a nuclear event.

If you unpack everything and take the items out of the boxes that are themselves in boxes then everything is easily located

The assembly instructions are in a small booklet and printed small to boot
