Design not as good as old one, the holes seem to let the seeds out which has caused a rat problem

It is smaller than i anticipated and i have also had to drill holes in the bottom so we dont get a grass mat at the bottom of it

The bigger birds can still access but not so easily so my little birds are happier

Not sure that they are as carefully made as they could be as the clip to secure the lid to the framework does not fit properly and has to be bent sideways to engage

Unfortunately i got this feeder with meal worms in mind for which it isnt designed and the starlings had no trouble devouring all the worms in a few minutes to the exclusion of the intended recipients its probably good for seed but not for starlings

The local pigeons have given up trying to eat the seed but the little birds go in and out
