Pros & Cons
Pros
The colors are different than pictured, in that the largest pieces are orange (not blue), the squares green (not orange), etc. The blocks have a very pleasing matte finish. Love the feel and traction of these blocks.
Kids as little as 6-7 months would enjoy * and stacking these lightweight plastic bricks. It is very easy for his little hands to stack the large blocks and build towers. When his older siblings help him out they are able to come up with roadways, bri... Read More
They're oversized which makes them easy for little ones to manipulate. In my opinion these blocks are even better than the large mega blocks.
The green toys block set brought back good memories from my childhood. The best part is they're the green toys brand. Made in the usa and not china for a change.
This is to prevent small toddlers from straining and pulling to get them free. Perfect for my toddler. We plan on allowing tammy's infant grandniece, claire, to play with them when she’s older.
Cons
Cute and a good size but very frustrating for toddlers and threenagers. Change in design is not eco-friendly or green at all because it makes older models incompatible. Pass on these and get duplos or mega bloks.
The blocks have hollow bottoms and pegs at the top for snapping together. The underside is simplistic when compared to a lego product.
Highlights
Quality
They are very colorful and the quality is good.
I'd love to see even a large drawstring bag included with this product.
Before allowing my neighbor child, ryan, to play with the blocks, my girlfriend, tammy, and i played with them.
I sat down with him and tried to encourage him to build with them, but he just wanted to play with the box.
Packaging/appearance
They are a great size, and i love that they come in recycled packaging!
I love that these blocks are non-toxic and can get thrown in the dishwasher if they get sticky or messy.
They also are a little rounded on the side edges.
Competitiveness
Found one set at home goods and reluctantly bought the second set on amazon at double the cost.
Made in the usa and not china for a change.
