Fnshift also adjusts the brightness including one setting which will turn off the backlight entirely

If you wait to use the keyboard the backlight will go off after about 20 seconds which is great for preserving battery life

My one complaint is the bottom of the keyboard isn’t rubberized and doesn’t have little rubber dots that will prevent the keyboard from sliding around the table while typing if you’re using it without the case

The ipad fits comfortably but there is a lot of rubberized wrapping

I did have a separate usb keyboard but it didnt travel with my ipad case
