Quality

This multimeter is very well made with lots of features for desktop use of electrical use.

Test leads are nicely rubbery, refresh rate is very good and i find it very accurate.

This dmm is built by brymen (of taiwan) and is rated at 1000 volts cat iv.

The meter is easy to operate and isn't excessively bulky.

Amazon ran this on sale so i grabbed one

Check ebay first for a lower price (under 100 bucks).

Good meter for $49 or even a couple hundred.

Packaging/appearance

Comes with a nice carry bag and probes.

Only negative is package looks opened but since i’m always returning stuff i can’t judge either, i’m keeping it.

I recently bought the 820a, and it’s probably my favorite, next to fluke.

It's a rebranded brymen, although i don't know what brymen model is it.

The only issue is that it is priced higher than its oem brymen 826 that can be purchased from germany.
