Pros & Cons
Pros
I'm pleasantly surprised to say that, in fact, they are heavyweight as indicated in the description. These are the best non-metallic forks i’ve ever used.
Not flimsy like other plastic spoons. This is as close to an actual spoon as it gets.
The fac that it biodegradable is a great eco-friendly plus. They're bpa-free, too. Makes me feel much more superior to my coworkers.
Cons
The spoons are the only utensil in this set that are ok. The knives and forks break when i try to spread margarine on toast. Dixie utensils are much better as are cvs and walgreens own brand--made in america and very sturdy and reasonably priced.
The corn industry emits more fossil fuels than any other (factory industry) these are advertised as 100 percent biodegradable. They need to be composted industrially.
Highlights
Quality
Sturdy and can be reused if washed by hand.
More durable than i thought possible in a fork made of this material.
The forks and the spoons are so durable.
Smooth but slightly textured with no sharp edges, so they don’t feel like cheap plastic sporks.
Price
They are a great value for the money and they are compostable!
These are a great value choice for an environmentally friendly option.
I hope that compostable utensils can be cheaper because it shouldn’t cost more for caring about the planet.
They're more expensive, but worth the effort if you want to save the planet.
Packaging/appearance
Pros:- super sturdy, go ahead and stab a steak with these bad boys (medium/medium rare)- don't bend or flare out like regular p... Read More
