Pros

The adjustable trigger throttle is a nice feature if you don't need to attack an area at full speed. The bump feed head works flawlessly, but i do wonder how long it will. Battery is not awesome but lasts pretty well.

It cuts way better than the old b&d—slicing through thick weeds that one couldn't touch. The only issue i have with it is tall grass. It has a lot of power and tackles tall weeds. You just have to be mindful of your cutting radius.

I was upgrading from another brand's 24v system -- this feels like a lot more than double the power. The 2 amp battery lasts about 30 min for me and the 4 amp with pretty much do my whole yard so i’m happy! It seems slightly lighter than gas powered b...  Read More

Cons

This edger has no guide so you have to try to keep it lined up. Edge guide was a design afterthought and should be fully secured to the unit.

Not sure it if can even be repaired. This company blames the user when their product breaks. I thank amazon for righting a wrong when the company would not stand behind their product.

Quality

I am so pleased with the amount of power that this trimmer delivers!

It has just as much power as a gas weed eater and you do not have to deal with the gas/oil, sparkplugs, maintenance, etc.

I started out with the worx, which i have to say was not worth the money whatsoever.

Competitiveness

This is my second purchase of a greenworks battery operated weed eater.

Got this as addition to my pole saw with 2mah 40v battery.

Apparently greenworks doesn't sell blades so i'll have to figure that out when i need to replace the blade.

After fighting with my gas unit over the last year or so i had a few people recommend a rechargable.
