Pros

This unit is better than the lowes kobalt version. It's easy to use and lightweight. Batteries and charger are interchangeable.

Cons

Greenworks 80v hedge trimmer is very heavy from motor/battery. The strap was not included or lost in delivery. The attachment point for the strap is no where near the center of gravity.

Solidly constructed and i was able to cut up to 1" soft branches.

Easy to use, powerful, trims with little effort, and lasts a really long time on a 2.

It has a long blade and cuts through surprisingly thick brush.

Having two unused greenworks 80 volt pro batteries, not being used 10 months out of the year.

Price

I was nervous about spending this much money but it was worth every penny.

Wish their batteries were not so expensive.

But then again i would hope so since this unit cost way more than my corded one even without a battery included.

Original packaging failed at some point and this was repackaged along the way.

Competitiveness

This unit is better than the lowes kobalt version.

I do recommend the 80v as a neighbor has another brand and 40v and can't even finish his yard in one pass.

Yes, greenworks scores very high compared to other battery-powered and gas garden and lawn tools.

The green works tools maybe a bit more expensive than the kobalt version but they seem to be better overall.
