Pros & Cons
Pros
The chain-tightening mechanism is well-designed and quick. The chain has a cutter every 3 links instead of every 2 links. This allows for a direct drive of the chain gear by the output shaft of the motor.
Saw is lightweight, easy to use and cuts well. Works well on clean up too, just watch the angle so sawblade does not get pinched. Looks rugged compared to my previous saw.
Took down an old redbud tree. It has plenty of power to do almost any tree limb clearing and trimming needed. Made short work of 4 inch tree limbs when pruning.
Cons
It's still under warranty, which is really worthless if i can't even talk to anybody at greenworks. Replacement leaks even more than the first one. Oil flys everywhere mixed with chopped up junk making it very easy to lose your slimy grip.
Box was poorly packed and taped. What i can't figure out is how that chap who posted those pictures of big logs managed to do that. There are all right, but this chainsaw is a piece a of *.
The chain it comes with is not very durablle and needed to be sharpened after 1 small tree. Also the chain comes off too easily. The electrical cord can also get tangled and cause issues.

I would pass by any saws that have some sort of all-in-one chain tensioner, it is a poor design.
Price
Best deal i found for my needs - sawing up branches that fall off mature oak trees into nice firewood :)
At the price and ease of use, this saw was perfect.
$53 was insanely cheap to me for a chainsaw.
It's actually less expensive to buy this chainsaw than to rent (a gas powered) one for a couple of days.
Packaging/appearance
The first thing i noticed was there was a glob of grease in the gear box, but none was on the gears!
Competitiveness
Having said that, we all must keep in mind you usually get what you pay for, but if you recognize that fact and avoid asking a ... Read More
Also, this saw uses more bar oil than any saw i've ever owned.
