Pros & Cons
Pros
It is more for the thicker branches and such. The instruction booklet is great, it has lots of information about cutting trees and limbs for a beginner like me. Use once to limb a 20' tall mulberry tree.
The greenworks 24v 10 chainsaw is a cordless, electric model. It comes with a battery and charger, a scabbard for the blade and instruction manuals. This chainsaw is light enough that my wife said she would feel comfortable using it.
They're a lot quieter, however, and don't pump out exhaust. They are great tools but be warned that this unit doesn't come with a usb port as advertised.
It really takes the guesswork out of charging the battery. It fits in my rear rack storage unit with the extra batteries.
This is a lightweight chain saw which is great for occasional use. It is light and i can easily handle it with one hand. The saw seems to gut well and should be able to handle most things we throw at it with a sharp enough chain.
Cons
After many uses, the chain will just not stay on the saw. It pops off, i put it on, it pops off again. Not recommended for more than trimming twigs.
The motor needs to run with a bigger ampere hour battery and the motor need to be sufficiently cooled. Go with a corded ones.
Highlights
Quality
Very sturdy and makes short work of removing bushes and small trees.
Light weight, very sturdy and easy to use.
Alot of power, constant cut, chain got bucked off once, easy to put back.
Made about 30 piles of branches between 6- 10 inches wide, and the chain is still super sharp.
Price
This is definitely one of those surprisingly impressive great value deals.
It handles everything it says it can do and for the price, i have gotten my money's worth out of it.
Finally, spend an extra couple dollars and buy a spare battery.
I'm not happy that i paid over $130+ for this chainsaw and had to buy 2 more batteries over $63+ dollars just so i can do what ... Read More
Shipping
It was suppose to be a gift, but came too late.
Competitiveness
I can tell you it's not the chainsaw because i bought 2 more off brand batteries and the chainsaw so works just fine.
I’m a 5’ tall 67 year old woman that weighs just a bit more than our german shepard.
