It has a battery, so it's a bit heavy. It's quite a bit heavier than my corded stapler. Impressed considering it's battery operated.

Let me just reiterate, this is a beast stapler. It has a control knob on the top to control the amount of force to drive the staple in. I’m actually surprised at how smooth this is for a battery powered staple gun.

Once again for gw, the value is just incredible.

I think they are more reasonably priced, but still offer a nice quality.

Shipping

The us based customer service person took care of everything quickly and sent me a new battery.

Though delivery took longer than usual, everything (including the shipping boxes) came through in good condition.

Packaging/appearance

I gave it 4 stars as it doesn't come with a case to store it in.

There is no case, so either you can keep it in the box or get something else to carry it with.

I was very impressed when i took it out of the box and even more so when i started punching staples into some 2x4's.

The stapler stayed charged for the completion of the box.

Competitiveness

The 24v power makes a difference when compared to a different version of this made by a competitor.
