Pros

Greenworks has a good reputation for making excellent products at a great price so i was quite pleased to see their reciprocating saw advertised on amazon vine. They all work well, durable, and importantly affordable.

The saw is compact and lightweight, making it easier to handle than a well-trained golden retriever. It is well balanced and easy to securely hold and operate. All in all, the dexterity is great, it performs well and i'm pleased with it.

Superior greenworks quality with a great battery platform. Batteries are interchangeable with other greenworks products. We have multiple greenworks branded battery powered tools in our arsenal.

Battery life is comparable, but for any sustained work you are going to want at least one back up battery. Power of the saw is ample. I am pleased!

Cons

Emails, social media messages and phone calls, no response or no solution. Removing them is just as hard.

So far all of them have impressed me as being well made and good performing tools, but battery life can be somewhat less than desired.

Vibrated like crazy and amazingly heavy, battery really added too much weight to the product, returned it.

The quality is fair for the price.

Competitiveness

Compared to my corded reciprocating saw, and my other cordless reciprocating saw, this greenworks saw is much lighter.

I use this and another similar cordless to trim up green logs mounted on my wood lathe.

For more widespread adoption, gw should undercut their competitors.

I ordered this saw not expecting it to compare to the name brand saw but i was pleasantly surprised.
