Pros & Cons
Pros
Greenworks is not quite as good as milwaukee in my opinion. I use a lot of milwaukee products and this one is up there on par with dewalt and milwaukee. The package also includes a 2mah battery, which is compatible to other greenworks 24v batteries.
This little router packs quite a punch. The battery life isn't the greatest but for what it is i have been very impressed.
First impressions are router comes neatly packaged and has everything needed to get started routing. Battery is flat so setting this upside down is easy and sturdy. Easy to hold and use.
Cons
The router i’ve been dreaming about for a long time is pretty much useless for getting anything done. Jerking and very difficult to operate.
Highlights
Quality
I am really impressed with the quality and performance of this battery powered router from greenworks.
I have a couple of other greenworks cordless tools, and i've found the quality to be excellent.
If this was my only greenworks tool and i didn't have extra batteries that i could use, i would be very disappointed.
That being said this one works with the greenworks battery.
Packaging/appearance
The depth control was very loose out of the box.
Competitiveness
This means that the router can also use other greenworks 24v batteries like i tried here, a 4mah battery.
The package also includes a 2mah battery, which is compatible to other greenworks 24v batteries.
A few weren't captured, but much less than would be left without the dust collection, to be sure!
For the price i think greenworks needs to either include a more powerful 4ah battery or two of these 2ah batteries instead of just one.
