Power lasts long enough to do what i need without a battery change with the 2ah.

With the battery that it came with - i can get approximately 40 to 50 minutes of operation.

So far, the additional extra battery has not been needed, as the batt included with the blower lasts well over an hour.

Competitiveness

I can also use the battery that came with htis unit for my trimmer and my allett liberty 43 reel mower.

Took a chance on this unit because i already had two 40 volt 4 amp greenworks batteries from previous lawnmower and trimmer purchases.

I have a greenworks extended hedge trimmer, heavy but battery life is fantastic, hopefully the leaf blower will work as well.

Greenworks does backup their warranty as proved when they replaced my pole saw when the motor crapped out.
