Pros

The saw works great. Adjusting and tightening the chain regularly while working helps keep the chain on the bar. All saws require care and careful chain lubrication and management.

My gas trimmer needs a new carburetor cause i don't use it often enough. No more mixing gas, or having to keep rpms high to cut better, this motor gives plenty of torque.

The greenworks 40 volt chainsaw is a workhorse! It’s superior to the dewalt 20 volt although the dewalt is handy for trimming, pruning and clearing.

Cons

The chain tightening mechanism is cheap plastic. Trigger and chain speed are not well synced. The chain is very flimsy.

Battery chainsaw is not cheap and it quickly become unusable. There are scuffing on the battery charger and the shield was popped off. Charge the battery to 100% fill the oil tank and hit the trigger, nothing.

Battery light goes off when attempting to start. No response yet. Followed intrusions and no surprise, nothing.

This was money very well spent for a super chainsaw!

I got it on a deal of the day 3 years ago and would buy again in a heartbeat.

0mah batteries were $120 i figured why not buy a chainsaw that has a battery.

My only con is that the battery only lasts for 30min i looked into getting another battery but over $100 idk
