Pros & Cons
Pros
The saw cuts great! The quick release button is really useful, and the trigger handle is very comfortable. Recharge time for the 8 ah battery is respectable, about 1 hour. You don't have to deal with starting a gas engine or dragging out an extension ... Read More
It has a loud internal fan that comes on while charging the battery, but it works quickly. My neighbor keeps bragging to me about his electric chainsaws; the ease of use and quietness. No complaints at all.
The milwaukee chainsaw has a large compartment for the battery, which has four green leds to indicate the remaining battery charge. There is a black tensioner screw that requires a screwdriver to tighten or release tension on the bar so you can instal... Read More
The battery charger is a behemoth. Lightweight but lots of power. Easy to handle and maneuver.
Cons
Came out of box with a broken tensioner! Don't buy it cheap plastic. Greenworks tools are fakey flakey dumb design- unfit workmanship!
Highlights
Quality
This saw has all the appropriate safety features, and is surprisingly well balanced.
The quick release button is really useful, and the trigger handle is very comfortable.
If you're not working this saw at max capacity, i would expect a battery to recharge in the time it takes to wear one out.
Once the battery was charged, the 18" blade had no trouble cutting through the large, dead pine tree in my yard.
Price
However a battery alone is about $250, so it may or may not make a budget sense to have a second battery.

I ran it through a couple 2434 logs and did some smaller bucking and limbing with it

Like most saws with a narrow tapered bar tip it did not like being buried fully and didnt care for plunge cutting

Otherwise it cut well given it only has a 532 chain it didnt cut as rapidly as an equivalent gas saw with a 316 chain and it also is a bit slower than the electric husqvarna saws ive used certainly chain speed is lower

Battery life is also lower than the pro models ive used bucking at maximum size capability i would estimate youre going to maybe 25 cuts before battery is flat

For typical smaller diameter 634 or less i would expect the battery to last fairly well
