Pros & Cons

Pros

The only thing i'm not too keen on is the back wheels don't always disengage when i'm trying to pull it backwards, or turn around. It just takes some time or whatever before it releases from the drive mechanism. Greenworks also has a phone number with...  Read More

Greenworks is an excellent electric mower. This mower cuts just as good as the gas powered ones. The mower is lightweight, easy to assemble, and works with very little noise.

The adjustable height setting works great to not burn out grass and to cut if it is a bit overgrown. The bonus is when you’re mowing all you smell is cut grass.

Cons

This mower does a lackluster job or cutting grass. What good is a lawn mower if you can't get your lawn mowed within a couple of hours in the span of one day?

Self-propelled model requires the handle to be pushed downward to engage the rear wheel drive.

It's not an exaggeration to say sometimes the mower doesn't make it more than a few feet before shutting off. One battery runs down, then the other runs a bit before themower quits.

It's quiet and i'm extremely happy with it.

The 16-inch blade width is not for your large lawn.

And while the ad does in small print say mower only battery and charger not included i did have to search to find it and that was after i bought the item and opened the box only to find no battery and charger

I understand that greenworks didnt include the battery and charger with my mower because they sell dozens of products that all work from the same batteries and chargers but the ad brags about battery life so much that they really ought to be more forthcoming about the item being sold without necessary items the battery and charger
