Pros

This hedge trimmer glides right through hedges, tree trimming, etc. My husband says this is the lightest and fastest trimmer he’s ever tried. It is fairly quiet.

Very satisfied with my purchase. Would recommend and would buy again.

I have the green works batteries so this was a no brainer. Uses the same battery as the incredible variable speed leaf blower. Separate warranties for each one but all the same number to call for warranty service or help troubleshooting.

Cons

It must not have been inspected before reshaping to me. Amazon is unable to help without first contacting greenworks. Just change model and order a dewalt 20v max.

Both my charger says there is malfunction. Chalk up to a bad purchase on my part. I know it must have been a return because the tip was packaged separately.

Unacceptable and very disappointing. Lightly used it.

Worked great for about 20 minutes on my privet hedge. Used it first on the zebra grass 4/14/23 in the spring and the grass was completely dried out. Was only cutting a small bush. Could only cut tiny branches - easily jams.

This is the fourth green works tool i bought and they all work great, plenty of power and last a long time before they need recharging

The retention plate is riveted to the big gear and in between are the blade bearings (like a small metal sandwich).

This is ultimately a good hedge trimmer but it doesn't come with a battery so please remember to purchase one.
