This edger works well on lawns that have been previously edged. Battery last a long time in trimmer, as it has not lost more than 50 percent.

Cons
Greenworks set is awkward to hold, especially compared to black & decker. Neither the greenworks spool nor after-market spools advance the string.
It barely cuts the quack grass let alone the seasonal die off when it’s dry. Reloading line for this trimmer is a disaster. Disappointed in the blower.
The manual is useless as the print is muddy and bleary. Product defects render it useless.
After about 5 minutes of use, the string ‘melt’s together and has to be manually un-stuck. Always unthreads and gets tangled up in itself.

Didn’t use the trimmer for several weeks and when i did i found the trimmer line didn’t self feed
