Pros

It's a little heavier than you might like. For very large and thick trees 3-4 foot in diameter. For lighter use like limbing a whole 60-70 ft tree, it runs great.

The adjustment tool is in the handle, so it is a quick adjustment and get back to work. That leaves one hour for hauling, stacking, and taking a break.

When you are not cutting, when you are trying to get around some rough terrain like steep sides of a gully, it's off completely and safely. The ability to just squeeze the trigger and cut without starting is under appreciated.

Cons

This product suffers from at least three issues. They are not dependable and each has failed within the 4 year warranty. Here's the the safety button has to be held continuously making it more complicated to use than my wife's of a different brand.

It leaks constantly. Only solution is to drain the oil every time you use it. Saw leaks oil when not in use.

This works every bit as well as any gas chainsaw i have used that was of a comparable size.

So i found the exact same model from greenworks (who made the kobalt one) and it's just as good as her kobalt.

I have been switching brands over to these 80v tools.
