The 80 amp hour battery gives this saw all the power it needs to take down medium to smaller trees with speed and ease.
That being said it drips oil at all times whether operating or stored when oil is in the reservoir.
I checked to see if there was some adjustment possible and greeworks rep suggested to empty the oil reservoir when not operating.

The only draw back is that the unit is a as stated direct from greenworks a slow drip oiler

So when you store it make sure there is nothing below the unit that you do not want chain oil to drip onto
