Pros & Cons

Pros

Snow discharge is not excessive and is counterbalanced by the weight of the battery on the opposite end from the blower head. Like many blowers it clogs when snow is heavy w moisture.

It weighs almost 20 pounds, which may not sound like much, until you start moving it around. It weighs a little more than a * eater, but it is well balanced overall. It's heavier than i thought but still ok.

Around 3” of wet snow is where this machine shines. Dry, powdery the limit here is probably closer to 8”. It doesn't get clogged in heavy, wet snow.

When it gets to be a couple of inches deep, it's fantastic. Suggest using it every 2 to 4 inches of snow instead of waiting until 12 inches plus accumulates. Does excellent job of cleaning right down to the surface though.

Cons

No cover for the battery. Only the faceplate of the battery shows. Unless they can fix it so that it can deflect the output in a certain direction, i find it very hard to recommend this to anybody for any normal use.

Very heavy and unwieldy. Bent in half, basically. It states 15 lbs as weight on web. Too heavy for me to do that.

The machine is much heavier than an ordinary snow shovel, of course, and it's hard to maneuver. The trigger stays in the on position when i went to use it and it won't turn off unless i pull the trigger down manually which is not very easy. No good fo...  Read More
