Pros

The quite part of its use is a plus in a residential area is a big plus. I live in an area where loud chainsaws are very disruptive. Perfect for me as a home owner with occasional needs.

The battery charges quickly and lasts for along time. Recharge takes approximately 1 hour. The chain seems lightweight and perhaps less durable but the 80volt system seemed, in video reviews, the only viable option.

New chain has one connection link between cutters. Old chain has two skip links between cutter. The saw cuts right through every limb and tree.

Cons

Greenworks customer service is the worst i have ever experienced. It is impossible to contact customer service!

The startup time on this saw is a bit odd as there was a delay and then a slow ramp up to speed. I'm familar with saws and tried different different tensions (other than what i know is the correct tension) but the chain still comes off way to frequent... Read More

Great product works well batery charges fast.

This saw cuts like a high end gas saw without the smell, noise and other pollutants

It cuts an awful lot of wood on just one battery.

Competitiveness

I have another greenworks product that came with a battery and charger, so now it is easy to keep going with this saw.

I got roughly the same number of cuts with the battery as i would with my similar sized gas chainsaw.
