Pros

All 3 batteries now charge properly with new charger. They recharge fast. Replacement for the annoying but powerful electrical cord powered i used to have. Got the 80 volt so a bit longer life and more powerful.

Greenworks 80v string timmer and blower are excellent, light weight and as powerful as gas powered equivalent models. It matches any gas string trimmer i've used on the farm except for the duration you can use it for before needing to refill. The only...  Read More

It's nice to just drop a battery in, turn on and start working. Works good. There are fantastic. Highly recommend this.

Cons

The manual is pathetic. The string is not durable, running out and not advancing-feeding easily when spool is bumped. The distance between the trigger and the head is so long that my trigger hand is behind my shoulder.

We tried contacting them several times in the past several months, no one replies. Then it hangs up.

Battery life is atrocious. They deserve a zero rating. This is unacceptable.

Quality

It has enough power to do the job and looks amazing after each trim

Been using them for a couple of years and the batteries are still working well.

So yes also bought the edger (which fortunately also comes with a 2amp battery, and an additional charger.

The ease of use and lack of maintenance are its strengths.

Price

Can’t beat the price for what you’re getting.

But you can buy a lot of gas for the price of these batteries, will leave that choice to you.

Never need to run to the gas station to get a $4 gallon of gasoline or oil!

Competitiveness

This is the first time electric lawn equipment actually has the power to compete with my gas equipment.

A lot of manufacturers say that their equipment is same gas power but there is no comparison between 40 volt and 80 volt.
