Pros & Cons
Pros
Batteries last a decent amount of time and quickly recharge. Takes about an hour to mow my lawn, and in spring and fall it uses about one whole battery. Hopefully it lasts a long time.
Mower is lightweight enough to push without being self propelled. Water brake is welcome when mowing in the tx heat. My other mower is a husqvarna push mower, self-propelled $650.
It cuts amazing and the blade speed self adjusts depending on the grass thickness. It's very sturdy, and cuts pretty good. Cuts consistently and even has the mulching option.
Very satisfied purchase and recommend for those with smaller sized lawns. That's okay with me since my properties on the mountain don't need manicure lawn.
Cons
Batteries die after about 50-70 charge cycles. Battery life is poor and half what is advertised. This means i need to charge the battery just to finish. Amazon and greenworks need to make sure they aren't selling dead batteries right out of the box.
The mower cuts unevenly and can't get all the grass in the rear bag. The battery life is miserable as it has to be drained every ten minutes. Replacement batteries cost more than the mower.
Greenworks is owned by globe group, basically a scam company based in china. Getting warranty service is impossible. The warranty is garbage.

Competitiveness
The performance of this product surpasses all the other brands i have used in the past.
Ok so i'm through with the gas mowers, tried another brand b4 this one wasn't at all what i thought.
So for comparing the two, the greenworks mower is larger, a little heavier and more solidly built.

Backstory i’ve been using my refurbished 25 year old gas briggs straton lawnmower for the past year and half since my lawn service quit on me because it was not worth it to them to stop and cut my 210 of an acre lawn once a week spring and summer and every two weeks in the fall and winter – it’s a florida thing
