Pros

The pole saw has more than enough power to cut through most branches. Great saw for branches 4-6 inch in diameter. Works great for thick limbs of three and four inches.

The tensioner screw is not the best design - particularly using to included tool. The chain loosens frequently. Chain tensioner is non functional (chain won't stay tight for more that a few minutes of use). And 'leaky' it too generous a description fo... Read More

Looks like a good product, but looks can be deceiving. Nothing seems cheap or insufficient in design that would cause me hesitation in recommending it to anyone to buy.

The saw was not wrapped in plastic and was dirty. The cutting chain easily comes off saw blade. This means you have to constantly stop and disassemble the blade unit to put the cutting chain back on its blade!

Motor controller failure and the circuit is “potted’ as a non- repairable assembly. The reason is unknown and due to my attempts to get repairs via greenworks cs i recommend returning rather than repairing under warranty.

Excellent polesaw, heavy duty, cutting is a breeze.

Excellent tool; i limbed off a large tree with it and used less than half a charge.

5 hours of heavy use on both large and small tree limbs.

There is no clutch on electric units so if they get jammed there is no throttle while tugging option.

Packaging/appearance

Came completely packed up, only missing 1 screw i happened to have one similar i installed, seems to work fine now.

Competitiveness

The only downside i've had, and i've had it with other brands as well, is that the chain sometimes jumps off.
