Pros & Cons
Pros
This tiller is powerful and does a great job on the things for which i use it. It does a very nice job of tilling. Gardens haven't been tilled in a few years and were overrun with grass and prickly nettle.
Greenworks cordless tiller is well made, light and simple to use. Uses the same 80 volt battery that goes in my greenworks snow blower. I also own the 80 volt leaf blower, string trimmer, and snowblower.
It digs large rocks out of the ground without straining. Georgia red clay in my yard, which it tears through with no problems. The soil is a bit rough, but i decided to give it a tray any way.
It comes with a rapid recharger that literally takes a few minutes to reload the battery. If you have to purchase a replacement battery, they run a little on the expensive side if you don't watch for the sales.
The operators manual was included. A small part but vitally important. And the batteries are interchangeable. This is a little heavier and works better.
Cons
May return. Looks to me like, daisy king saw this and decided they want to get more money for this and retracted my order & stated they would refund me.
Highlights
Quality
Once i got thru the crusted dirt with the first battery, the second battery lasted 45 minutes and still had 1/3 battery left.
Upon activating the tiller, with the handlebar controls, the tines began slowly turning.
Packaging/appearance
This tiller did as good as my mantis tiller but without the hassle.
Competitiveness
I have other gwp 80w products, this was to compliment and integrate.
After using it a couple times, if used for annual restructuring it's a champ, even to break ground in a normal residential setting.
After much wasted time trying to repair it; i finally bit the bullet and ordered this greenworks cordless (battery-powered) model.
At some point, i opened-up the box to a greenworks 80 volt chainsaw, which i’d yet to try.
