Pros
Bought a over for it. After fixing that pole, it now works as it should! Don't be afraid. What a great umbrella for the price.
If youve seen pictures in the reviews about this, and are hesitant to buy based on that, this review is for you. The blocks work like steps for me to crank it open. The included full-desk mousepad is very cool as well.
Cons
It's a bummer because it was so pretty opened.
Water seeps down the pole and caused the bolt that secures the crank mechanism to rust. I have 4 heavy 14x14 stone pavers in the base and it’s no help to the cheap metal base. I ordered solar lights to clip onto it, the clip pulls the umbrella down?
The warranty is for 30 days only. Next time id spend a little more cash and get something more durable. Do not waste your money at costco.

The bracket support that holds the boom to the pole is made of cheap plastic and bends/torques out of shape easily.
Sturdiness is pretty good the wind picked up once and kinda bent the pole a little.
