Highlights
Competitiveness
I see there's a customer comment by the manufacturer that these are designed for use with 20-lb tanks.
But it does work ok for 20-lb tanks, if you run at fairly high btus.

The magnets just measure the temperature of the tank rather than directly measuring the actual liquid level
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
If the entire magnet is over the liquid or the air part the line is above or below the magnet then it will show a consistent temperature and you will think it doesnt work
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Or if the liquid hasnt had enough time for the evaporation to make a significant temperature difference you will also not see anything on the magnets but this isnt the sensors fault

Gas has to be exiting the tank
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
The remaining liquid in the bottom of the tank gets cold as it evaporates off and the gas exits via the valve

The strip has to be placed over the level of remaining liquid

Too high you are measuring all gas temp too low you are measuring all liquid

Very hard to determine what the correct reading is
