We did not want that and i had a great deal of difficulty finding a plumber who could figure out the parts for the setup i wanted

The reason behind my purchase of this wall union was because the one that came with my shower system kept falling out of the pipe connected to the wall and it would not stay firmly

In fact i am very satisfied with this hand held shower holderpipe connector despite it being made out of plastic

Although it was not made out of metal it fit in fluidly with my shower systemas showed in the picture

This product is quite pricey and my guess is that the pipe costs more than the actual plastic itself
