Pros
Just unscrew the old and screw on the new. The top fitting magically allows the shower head to rotate without undoing. It's not the washer joint but the flexible joint where the hose fits into the metal collar.
Easy to install and works a treat. It's easy to clean unlike those horrible corrugated things. It is flexible and does not scratch my bathroom tiles.
Cons

Quality
The quality of the hose was second to none.
Grohe quality seems good and price lower than mira equivalent.
Payed a little more for this product.
Price
Whilst i wouldn't pay full price, got this on offer so great for less then a tenner.
What a fantastic price, from a well known company .
Packaging/appearance
The only minor gripe is that it took a while for the hose to hang correctly having been tightly wound in its packaging.
Competitiveness
I had tried the cheap brands which did not last long and opted for this premium brand.
Grohe products are stronger and last longer than most other brands

I knock the score down half a star or so because the colour is not as nice as a pure chrome or stainless steel finish or fitting and its not going to be an exact match for any of your existing taps etc

No sign of any limescale or dirt as you would get on a standard flex hose

Great replacement nearly 5 years ago but has now started to leak at the joint near the shower head

We reluctantly bought this as an alternative to the original hose which was a sort of flexible metal encased in plastic was no longer available

I found it very hard to choose the right colour to go with shiny chrome fittings shower head etc as there are so many conflicting comments
