Theres also an oring that sits around the cartridge which interferes with pushing the sleeve onto the cartridge
The next issue is the confusing instructions 2nd the lever the handle screws into does not to into that square hole but just to the right of it clockwise
Btw the 2 screws that mount the backplate to the valve body are 4mm length approx 2 from memory
Then i found that 2 screws were still missing as the left over screws did not fit
