Pros & Cons
Pros
It's similar in design to other tactical offerings from fenix but with relatively pared down spec. It's 6 inches long and weighs 7 ounces, where my last one was 3 ounces. It is convenient to carry along and can be easily hung from or strapped to a bac... Read More
Tail cap cutoff switch is nicely implemented. Battery compartment has square threads that mate up nicely to the end cap. Button layout is fine but perhaps making them contrasting colors would be helpful. Big button on the end of the light makes it eas... Read More
User replaceable, rechargeable 18350 battery. Multi-meter time to confirm it was inserted properly.
Cons
The lights are on the entire time too. Its about an inch too long to fit in cargo shorts or cargo pants leg pockets, so it sticks out. Other two are light and stun.
Highlights
Quality
General build quality of this, as a flashlight is decent.
Comfortable to hold and seems pretty durable.
*trickle charge kicks in at around 4 volts and the battery meter reads full, but as soon as you unplug it, it reads only 75% full.
Earlier models had nickel chemistry non-replaceable batteries and they didn’t last.
Price
Good protection product at an affordable price.
*overpriced - $30 would be more appropriate imo.
This price point is kind of a stretch though.
Shipping
Charging is via a micro usb port with a provided charging cable, the only other item that was shipped with the flashlight.
They made an "exception" and sent a shipping label for me to return my defective unit.
I reached out to them again about that issue and was advised i didn't register the warranty within 30 days.
I was surprised when this self-defense device arrived without any directions whatsoever.
Packaging/appearance
Great christmas stocking stuffer idea, especially for those who work the night shift.
*cheap packaging and absolutely no instructions included.
Because when i received it 2 green lights were on, as if someone forgot to turn it off.
*flashlight reflector had a chip in it straight from the packaging.
Competitiveness
It's similar in design to other tactical offerings from fenix, or olight but with relatively pared down spec.

In the dark its natural to be holding one and its not threatening so if someone gets too close they wont be wary and try to take it away or block it

However like firearms this is somewhat dangerous around kids especially small children but could easily be misused by irresponsible teens as well
