Theres a plastic bowl attached to the bottom that you twist off clockwise if looking down from the top

The seal is outstanding i cant get anything to leak no matter how i swing it or try to get anything to come out

I find that the top gets kinda hard to open once it has had hot food sitting in it for a few hours kinda like it sets the seal
