The hole in the middle lets you breathe while facesnuggling it and you can put it over your lips to protect lip balm if you wear that to bed and are too cold then you can have the plushie over you and the blanket over both you and the plushie

Also it is very comfortable to use as a pillow for the back of your head as well and i remember my dad telling me that when i was a baby i never got a donutshaped pillow so my skull formed into a permanently dented shape due to that
