Pros

It really is ok to use in windy wet weather and i am very impressed. The only downside is that since the wind travels through the top of the umbrella too, my head is slightly colder as a result!

This is by far the best umbrella i have ever owned. Would recommend no other umbrella. Does exactly as advertised.

Cons

Do not be fooled by the 5 year warranty. There's a guarantee for such defects. Do not be fooled. The handle of this umbrella has the smallest carrying handle i have ever seen on an umbrella.

The rivets that are used to join the hinge on the spokes that fold up are unfortunately prone to rusting and fail after a short while. The stitching that holds the canopy to the spokes is also substandard.

At first it seemed to stand up to wind quite well but soon the joints of the spokes started to come adrift and poke holes in the fabric.

I was holding it under my arm and kneeling on the floor and it fell a very short distance and broke (so obviously very cheap material).

Price

So thanks, yep it is a little expensive but worth it to know i will be dry and protected from the rain and wind any day.

For the price, this is a real bargain, you will get what you paid for and more, and this will last for ever if taken good care of.

Bit pricey but i've had one for over 5 years and its never blown inside out and is still going strong.

Packaging/appearance

It looks very elegant and pretty as well, and certainly an eye catcher.

Competitiveness

This is the second gustbuster umbrella i buy from amazon.

Quite expensive compared to other umbrellas advertising the same qualities now.
