The bounce gives just enough to make it perfect for practicing gymnastics. My girls love doing cartwheels and handstands on this. Firm but bouncy just like the floors at her gym. Great mat, great for gymnast.
This mat seems super sturdy and the kids love it! It seems pretty well made. Our 50lb lab occasionally runs on it and have had no issues.
