Pros & Cons
Pros
Holy cow these are bright! But do not miss them with these led hb1s. They match my bull bar lights perfectly. Very nice upgrade.
Over the halogen bulb, these almost double the visibility. The regular lights illuminate in a hue that makes things look clear and easy to see.
The solution is to rotate the bulb 180 degrees. You insert it rotated about 1/8th of a turn to the left and rotate it clockwise until the wire is at the top.
Cons
Installation was a pain and some disassembly of engine compartment components were necessary. The are wired backwards. The plugs only work one way so i know they aren't backwards.
Hid bulbs require some type of resistor because its messing with the current somehow. But the headlights are standard 9004 halogens. They say that there are no external balast resistors needed with these bulbs.
Major disappointment of this product is that it completely ruins the radio signal on my car! Turns every station into static. The light beam that it casts is the worst.
Total garbage. They do not. Too bad. Poor assembly. No response from manufacturer on the faulty units.
Highlights
Quality
I used this product on my 2012 mack chu613 big rig.
Once they were installed with the resistors they work great and put out fantastic light.
They never did, with the earlier ones on the market.
* passenger sidei tried installing with the battery in place and decided to remove the battery to gain better access to the light.
Shipping
I hope it doesn't "poop" out fast as others have said in review.
Update #2- i reached out to sealight regarding the issue and they sent me out a new set super fast.
Competitiveness
Super duper easy to install in my 2018 nissan versa sv.
The sealight bulbs have already outlasted a set of h7 halogen bulbs.
We only use sealight bulbs for all our vehicles.
Update 2: i stepped up to a higher end product from sealight.
