I use this almost daily for tapping ( beating) in parts on a cnc lathe to adjust slight runout. I’m a metal fabricator and sometimes i need a softer hit.

I use this almost daily for tapping beating in parts on a cnc lathe to adjust slight runout the black face leaves zero marks what so ever on finished od parts and has enough weight behind it to move stubborn parts even when clamping on them will 400psi of chuck pressure

To be fair when i looked at this product i thought it was actually a mallet a large mallet then i was going to use for hammering in tree stakes however when it arrived i realised it was a lot smaller and this is more meant for hammering chisels without damaging the back
