Pros

It is quite difficult to find jars for canning vegetables in stores during the late autumn. Easy to clean. Great for my homemade kefir.

Cons

They are metallic but a bit too pliable and needed more rings to screw on securely, a design flaw. They sort of keep turning and never really lock. The top is 4 inch which will not fit the canning and fermenting lids.

Glass is nice and thick, but -- not 64 oz or 2 quartz or half gallon. Just check other places on prices before ordering these. Return requires return in same packaging.

I put them through the dishwasher, and there was no clouding of the glass or peeling of the paint on the lid.

Will continue to purchase at such a great deal.

A little pricey but overall happy with this purchase.

If the price were to come down a little i may order a few more for storage purposes.
