A little pricy, but a nice one to have with a newborn. I'm impressed that halo requested the defective part as it shows that they care enough about quality to investigate how/why the original part failed.

The bassinet lowers down to make it easier to get baby out. The piece used for tightening the height position is like a bike seat. You pull away from the middle rod to loosen and push it back in to tighten it.

Breathable mesh and flat mattress. The mesh sides are breathable and the sleep space is a decent size. Comes with the mattress, fitted sheets and it has mesh walls for easy viability.

The halo is not necessary to be designed in such an impractical way. The night light is completely worthless as it doesn’t light up a single thing. Not acceptable for an item of this importance to arrive in that state.

The base legs are enormous and extremely heavy. Once the bassinet part is moved off center of the base it is no longer level and is slanted.
