Pros
It holds the phone pretty steady. Adjustable width, secures to vent. Clips securely to the car vent.
Cons
Not able to reach manufacturer warranty. Counting my losses and going to temu and grab the same thing for $25. This product is garbage.

Now all different, you can have a carplay screen with simple settings, it is undoubtedly a huge improvement for my driving experience.
I have a 2016 rav4 and i was doing the research to replace my radio panel with a touch screen to get a carplay.
Physical buttons work better than hidden models.

The rams uconnect system will play music and podcasts directly through the vehicles speakers so i have no need music capability of the hameby unit

I found the units speakers to be acceptable to provide navigation instructions when needed but the vehicles factory system provide a better sound quality for music and podcasts

I found no need to attempt a wired connection from the iphone to the hameby unit since the bluetooth connection works very well

I had to delete my play list on my phone since the hameby unit tried to automatically play my music when i started the vehicle
