Anyone who has ever had 350 degree grease splatter on them should have no problem understanding that if this safety feature wasnt in place and they snagged the cord and pulled the fryer off on themselves they would be making a trip to the er for some very serious burns

If i get another one i will use liquid white out to place dots next to each temp marking on the dial

Heats up quick basket handle is a little looser than i would like but it never has failed

Its about 18 long and the magnets that hold it onto the fryer are so weak you could literally drop a hot wing on it and it would fall off
