Pros

Made a south american stew with chicken and chili. It cooks a stew, soup etc quicker than i expected because it really heats up.

Got this at a discount due to minor indentation on metal cladding. Removable crock washes easily. It is easy to clean weigh the removable pot.

It's a no-frills slow cooker, does the job. After a use or two you adjust to it and it does an exceptional job. The settings dial has very solid click stops.

Cons

The lid barley sits on top causing the liquid to sputter out causing a *,greasy mess inside the body and on the counter. The body feels like aluminum foil that will not last. And it says it holds 4 gts.

Plugged it in and set it to low and then tested the temp after an hour and it was right around 165.

Price

This crock pot purchase has paid for itself a thousand times over with the money i have saved avoiding restaurants.

I have used this thing so many times that i believe it has paid for itself.
